ArtWorks on the Summit is an artist-run cooperative, located in Kane, Pennsylvania. We are artists and art lovers, inspired by the natural beauty of our northern Allegheny region.
ArtWorks on the Summit began as ArtWorks at the Depot in 2006 as a group of artists and art supporters who came together with a common purpose of promoting the visual arts in this region with a wider appreciation for artistic standards, through exposure, education, and exploration. In 2018 our goals took us on a new track and we became ArtWorks on the Summit at a new location, 54 N. Fraley Street.
Our goals are simple:
to provide resources and incentive for our local artists.
to provide experience for young people interested in pursuing creative careers
to allow our more experienced artists to focus their own creative energies
By fostering cooperative interaction among our local artists, we are cultivating inspiration and promoting individual creative energy. It is a pleasure to work together with such creative people!
