Connie Bahan

Statement

Cool dark colors scrape across the canvas representing an emotional dance between soft brush strokes of vibrant hues and thick chaotic layers. A visual memory mapping a sequence of emotions through paint is the heart and soul of my work.

Color, form, and line express a language beyond the confines of words. For me painting is cathartic, the creating process is intuitive and reflects the emotions of each day.

Techniques & media

Acrylics and mixed media.
